EV charger installation in Essex
Make charging at home part of your everyday routine. We help plan your EV charger installation around your parking space, preferred charger and the electrical supply to your property.

Home charging planned around your vehicle and supply
Start with the parking space
Tell us where the vehicle is normally parked, whether you control the parking area and the practical cable route. Leasehold permissions or shared access may need to be settled before work is booked. A charging cable should not create a trip hazard across a public route.
Electrical assessment
We assess the incoming supply, earthing arrangement, consumer unit, existing loads and route to the charger. Supply upgrades, load management, network-operator requirements or other preparatory work may be needed. Charging power depends on the vehicle, charger and available supply.
Choosing equipment
Tethered and untethered units suit different routines. Confirm the exact vehicle, connector, cable length, app or tariff requirements and internet connection before ordering. Solar integration, load balancing and bidirectional charging depend on the specific equipment and configuration; they are not universal features.
Installation and disruption
The work can include a dedicated circuit, cable containment, protective equipment and charger commissioning. Safe isolation and testing require a planned power interruption. We agree drilling, outdoor cable routes and any groundwork before starting.
Quotation and handover
Cable length, access, groundwork and changes to the existing installation affect the price. Ask for the scope, exclusions and VAT to be clear. Handover includes relevant electrical certification, applicable notification and an explanation of the installed controls. Manufacturer warranties have their own terms.
Information for your quote
Send the postcode, vehicle model, desired charger if selected, photographs of the parking space, proposed route, closed consumer unit and meter area. Never remove electrical covers for a photograph.
Further information: IET electrical certificates and reports and Building Regulations Part P guidance. The documentation depends on the work undertaken.
