Electrical services for landlords and letting agents

One clear route for electrical inspections, repairs and improvements across your rental properties. Tell us about the property, the work needed and who will arrange access.

Arrange the work around the tenancy

Whether you manage one rental home or several properties, the booking needs more than an address. Let us know whether the property is occupied, between tenancies or undergoing refurbishment, and who is authorised to approve the work.

We can discuss EICRs, investigation of electrical faults, repairs to accessories and planned installation work. Send any existing report or maintenance notes so the enquiry reaches the right starting point.

Inspections and follow-up repairs

For an EICR, provide the property type, approximate size, previous report if available and any known electrical concerns. Tell us if there are outbuildings or other areas that need to be considered in the inspection scope.

If you already have an unsatisfactory report, send the complete document. We will discuss the remedial work separately and explain what can be quoted from the information available. Approval for an inspection is not treated as approval for unspecified repairs.

Make access straightforward

  • Provide the landlord or agent’s booking contact.
  • Confirm the tenant or keyholder arrangements.
  • Explain parking and any building-management restrictions.
  • Tell us about access to meters, consumer units and the rooms involved.
  • Agree who receives the quotation, invoice and relevant documents.

Electrical work between tenancies

A vacant period can be an opportunity to plan socket changes, lighting, kitchen connections or more extensive electrical improvements. Share the other trades’ dates before booking so the electrical stages can be coordinated with decorating, flooring and installation work.

A clear approval process

Tell us your purchase-order requirements and who can authorise additional work. We will agree the scope and price before proceeding. For a fault, describe what the tenant has reported without asking them to open electrical equipment or investigate wiring.

Send a property enquiry

Include the postcode, property size, requested service, preferred access dates and any report or photographs. We will confirm availability and explain whether we need more information or a visit before quoting. Telephone for urgent faults rather than waiting for an online reply.

Questions before you book

Can a letting agent arrange the appointment?

Yes. Provide the booking contact, property details, access arrangements and the person authorised to approve the quotation.

Can you work in an occupied rental property?

Tell us about occupancy and tenant access at enquiry stage. We will discuss the arrangements and any interruption to power before booking.

Can several properties be discussed together?

Yes. Send a separate address and scope for each property so access, quotations and documents can be kept clear.
